Gear
Staves and Focuses are the two main weapons of choice, with each offering its own benefits and drawbacks. Staves provide different implicit, modifiers and stats, while Focuses can give the Sorcerer an extra legendary power. Skill points are unlocked through level-ups and the Renowned system, and can be used to level up active skills and unlock passives. Each active skill can be leveled up to five times, with items increasing their power by 10% or reducing their cooldown by 5%. Passives are found throughout the tree and offer small bonuses to damage and utility under certain conditions, allowing the Sorcerer to tailor their build and shift it in the direction they want.
Skrill

The Frost Nova spell unleashes a torrent of frost, freezing enemies around the Sorcerer for 2 seconds. The Frost Nova spell’s radius is increased by 25, and it generates 4 mana per enemy hit. When hitting 3 or more enemies, its freeze duration is increased by 20.
The Ice Blades spell conjures a flurry of blades that rapidly slash enemies for 31 damage, and have a 20% chance to make them vulnerable for 2 seconds. Killing a vulnerable enemy increases the active Ice Blades duration by 1 second.
The Hydra spell summons a 3-headed hydra that spits fire at nearby enemies for 30 damage. Killing an enemy with a burning effect will cause a Hydra head to spawn from its corpse for 3 seconds.
The Lightning Spear spell conjures a crackling spear of lightning that seeks out enemies for 6 seconds, dealing 15 damage per enemy hit. Killing an enemy with a critically struck Lightning Spear will reduce the cooldown of the Sorcerer’s defensive skills by 3%.
The Blizzard spell summons a frigid blizzard that deals 120 damage and chills enemies for 18 over 6 seconds. When an enemy is in the Blizzard, they take up to 20 times more damage from the Sorcerer.
The Meteor spell summons a meteor that strikes the target location, dealing 50 damage and burning the ground for 35 damage over 3 seconds. When 3 or more enemies are hit, there is a 30% chance for an additional meteor to fall on the same location. Additionally, enemies that are hit by a Meteor are immobilized for 2 seconds.
