Just kidding, it’s not over yet, we need to keep our distance from others and wash our hands as often as possible.
Just kidding, it’s not over yet, we need to keep our distance from others and wash our hands as often as possible.
Wash your hands frequently with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds (for example: after using the toilet, after touching animals or animal waste products, or before eating food). Avoid shaking hands when greeting someone who might be infected with the COVID-19 virus; instead, use a fist bump or high five (or whatever else makes sense in your culture). Avoid touching parts of your face such as nose, mouth, or eyes without first washing your hands thoroughly; do not share utensils or other kitchen items; avoid kissing others; avoid sharing food or drinks that may have been contaminated by an infected person’s saliva.
be safe out there
You may feel like you are over your flu symptoms, but that doesn’t mean that the risk of spreading CoVID-19 is gone. The virus can stay in your body for up to two weeks after the onset of symptoms.
To reduce your chances of spreading CoVID-19:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water or an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
- Avoid touching your face with unwashed hands. If you need to touch dirty surfaces, first use an alcohol-based hand cleaner containing more than 60% alcohol. If no such product is available, use soap and water as soon as possible after touching a contaminated surface or object (if possible).
- Do not handle materials from birds (including eggs) without wearing protective equipment such as rubber gloves, leg covers (such as disposable pantyhose), eye protection such as goggles or glasses fitted with side shields that meet ANSI Z87 standards1,2(or equivalent), and respiratory protection such as a NIOSH/MSHA approved half mask respirator suitable for organic vapors with cartridge collectors or other NIOSH approved full face piece respirators3(or equivalent). Newer versions of these devices may include replaceable front bumpers or absorbent materials to decrease the amount of material retained by the barrier device during use; however, these newer versions are not necessarily better than older versions 4(or equivalent).
Conclusion
