Contempt of Court: Pilot Buzin Defies the Court by Continuing to Offer the Embraer Legacy 650E Aircraft for Sale

Date:

A flagrant affront to the authority of the United States courts: Alexander Buzin has egregiously violated a valid court order and continues to provide false testimony under oath. By thus undermining the integrity of the judicial system, he persists in perpetrating fraud by attempting to sell the Embraer Legacy 650E aircraft, valued at $20 million and manufactured in 2019, in direct violation of a federal court order—an aircraft which, as the documentary evidence clearly establishes, belongs exclusively to Abelia Limited.

In her final decision dated February 13, 2025, the Honorable Judge Valerie R. Manno Schurr of the Circuit Court of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in and for Miami-Dade County, Florida, held in Case No. 2025-000465-CA-01 that Abelia Limited is the lawful owner of the aircraft, which was unlawfully appropriated by Buzin, the owner of Aviation Consulting Corp. and former private pilot of Abelia for eight years.

‘Abelia Limited is the lawful owner of the Embraer S.A. aircraft, model EMB-135BJ LEGACY 650E, serial number 14501239,’ ruled Judge Shurr. ‘All ownership rights shall be transferred from Aviation Consulting Corp. to Abelia Limited, and the relevant records shall be updated accordingly.’

In a separate legal proceeding initiated by Abelia, on April 8, 2025, and again on April 22, 2025, the court, presided over by the Honorable Robert James Shelby, Chief United States District Judge for the District of Utah, issued a decision in case 2:25-cv-00225-RJS-DAO (Abelia v. TVPX), in which TVPX acted as trustee for ACC, and the aircraft at issue was held in trust and operated by TVPX.

The Honorable Judge granted Abelia’s motion for a temporary restraining order, enjoining TVPX and its agents, including Alexander Buzin and ACC, from transferring, selling, or otherwise encumbering the aircraft in any manner to third parties.

Nevertheless, Alexander Buzin flagrantly disregards the temporary restraining order issued by the Honorable Judge Shelby, which unequivocally prohibits him from transferring, selling, or otherwise disposing of the aircraft, as Buzin continues to attempt to sell the aircraft on the official ACC website in direct violation of the order. Furthermore, Buzin persists in misrepresenting facts before the Honorable Court, as he submitted to the Florida court a sworn written statement dated March 31, 2025, in which Buzin, under penalty of perjury, attested that the aircraft was not for sale and that he was not attempting to sell it. This statement, like Buzin’s other assertions, is a complete fabrication.

In the United States courts, Buzin sought to justify his actions by claiming that he regularly sells aircraft. A simple review of the ACC website demonstrates that Buzin’s company purports to offer two aircraft for sale. However, both of these aircraft are the property of Abelia. Furthermore, the Falcon 7X (https://aviation-consult.eu/sale) had already been traded in by Abelia to Dassault as early as January 2020. Furthermore, ACC has no involvement in this matter whatsoever.

In 2019, Embraer manufactured five Legacy 650E business jets. Air Hamburg, the principal operator of the Legacy 650 series, received three Legacy 650E aircraft. The Embraer Legacy 650E with serial number 14501237 is registered under tail number VT-FPA and is currently operated by a private owner in India (Hind Industries). One aircraft was acquired by Abelia. None of the owners of the 2019 Legacy 650E authorized ACC to sell the aircraft.

According to available information, ACC is neither a registered nor an aviation broker and does not engage in aircraft brokerage. In reality, Buzin has never been an aviation broker; He was merely Abelia’s personal pilot. For eight years, he operated and managed aircraft on behalf of Abelia. The notion that he is now attempting to sell aircraft to which he holds no rights is absurd, and the fact that he has misrepresented this to the court and continues to list them, in open defiance of two court orders, is not merely brazen—it is criminal. Judges in the United States are chosen from among the nation’s most elite attorneys; they undergo a rigorous selection process, and in federal courts, are appointed by the President.

The Honorable Judge Shelby is no exception: from 1988 to 1996, he served in the 19th Special Forces Group and the 1457th Engineer Battalion of the Utah Army National Guard, and in 1991, he was on active duty during Operation Desert Storm. His Honor has received several military awards for his service, including the U.S. Army Achievement Medal for Desert Storm and the National Defense Service Medal.

Following a distinguished military career, His Honor graduated from law school, served as a clerk to Judge John Thomas Greene, Jr. of the United States District Court for the District of Utah, and practiced privately. In recognition of his successful legal career and selfless dedication to public service, President Barack Obama nominated Judge Shelby to serve as a District Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Utah, and on April 12, 2012, he was confirmed by the Senate.

Accordingly, Buzin’s actions in submitting false information to the United States court and misleading Judge Shelby constitute a violation of the rule of law in the United States. The issue is further exacerbated by Buzin’s unlawful use of the business trust TVPX 2024-13461, located in the State of Utah and originally established for FAA registration purposes.

When TVPX was engaged as trustee, the trust reserved its name and obtained an FAA registration number; however, the registration was never completed. An entire year has passed, and the trust has failed to fulfill its intended purpose. This failure indicates that the trust was never intended for FAA registration, but rather served as a scheme to conceal Buzin’s ownership when he unlawfully appropriated the aircraft. Furthermore, in its recent legal proceedings in the State of Utah, TVPX confirmed that ACC are not the true owners of the aircraft, thereby discrediting all of Buzin’s assertions made in the Florida lawsuit. Indeed, through its statements, TVPX vividly demonstrates Buzin’s relentless disregard for the truth.

The litigation is ongoing, and with each new filing, additional details continue to emerge. This case represents a significant step in exposing financial misconduct within the aviation industry. The integrity of the American legal system and the financial security of the interested parties depend upon an unwavering commitment to justice, and no entity should be permitted to undermine these fundamental principles.
