In an era where inclusivity is finally taking the spotlight in technology, CodHer 2024 stood out as a vivid example of what happens when you put women’s talent, creativity, and ambition at the forefront. Hosted by ACM CEG, in collaboration with Hack2Skill, CodHer was more than just another hackathon—it was a space designed by women, for women, celebrating the next generation of innovators ready to reimagine the digital landscape. Over the course, participants came together in a hybrid format, combining the energy of in-person collaboration with the flexibility of remote problem-solving.
A Hackathon with Purpose

The hackathon aimed to:
- Inspire women technologists to build with confidence.
- Provide hands-on experience in emerging technologies like AI, cloud computing, and web development.
- Foster peer learning and networking among young professionals.
The atmosphere was electric—teams gathered around laptops, sketching wireframes, debating APIs, and testing prototypes late into the night.
Learning from the Best
One of CodHer’s highlights was its series of knowledge sessions and expert talks covering both technical and professional growth topics, including:
- Building Scalable Cloud Infrastructure Apps
- Pathways with Machine Learning and Neural Networks
