Calatagan beach is just a bit closer than Tingloy (about 45 minutes) and has plenty of Batangas beach resorts nearby if you wish to stay overnight. It’s also located on the other side of the mountain so offers amazing views overlooking Batangas City and Taal Volcano.

And Agoncillo is yet another nearby spot that offers white sand and clear waters – but you can’t go wrong with any beach in this province!

How to Get There

It is easy to go from Batangas to Manila and other major cities in the Philippines thanks to the good connectivity provided by land transportation. You may go from Manila to Batangas via bus or rail, depending on your preferred mode of transportation. However, if you are planning a trip from the provinces to the city, the railway line may not be the best option for your transportation needs because it is more expensive and takes longer to complete your journey. Buses to Batangas, on the other hand, leave Pasay Rotonda every 20-30 minutes and depart every 20-30 minutes from there. This will cost you on average between 100 and 150 Pesos, depending on when you visit and how excellent your bargaining abilities are!
