Having already signed Hakan Calhanoglu, Wilfried Zaha and Ivan Fresneda, Arsenal are now reportedly in a race to sign Mykhaylo Mudryk. With the Russian striker still battling a hamstring injury, it looks as though the Gunners could be well placed to land a top player.
Mykhaylo Mudryk
During the summer, the Gunners were said to be interested in a number of players, with Mykhaylo Mudryk one of the stars. His performance for Shakhtar Donetsk has made him a target for many big European clubs, and Arsenal are reportedly inching closer to a deal with the Ukrainian.
According to reports, Mykhaylo Mudryk is worth a whopping PS56 million, and could be signed in the next transfer window. However, the Gunners will face stiff competition for the signature of the 22-year-old.
Mykhaylo Mudryk has impressed during the season, scoring 10 goals and providing eight assists for the Ukrainian outfit. It is also worth noting that he has been a key member of Shakhtar’s Champions League squad this year.
Ivan Fresneda
Despite a promising season with Shakhtar Donetsk, Mykhaylo Mudryk is still a major target for many European clubs. Arsenal and Newcastle United have both shown interest in the young winger and Juventus have also been keeping an eye on him.
Another target for the Gunners is 17-year-old forward Christian Pulisic. In January, Arsenal are reportedly interested in a number of young players. They are considering a bid for Eintracht Frankfurt’s Evan Ndicka and also have a scout on the lookout for midfielder Federico Valverde.
The Iranian international Mehdi Taremi is also a target for the club. His contract at PSV expires in 2024 and he has been linked with a move to England.

Hakan Calhanoglu
Despite the great start to the season, Arsenal have been linked with a number of players in the transfer market. One of the names in the news this week is Turkish international Hakan Calhanoglu.
The 28-year-old has impressed during his debut season at Inter Milan. has already scored two goals and has assisted eight. also has a good free-kick record in Serie A.
is expected to join Arsenal in January, with the club considering a move for the former AC Milan player. is out of contract in just over three months, and would be an alternative signing to Youri Tielemans.
The German has played both holding midfield and wide positions. He is also good at set pieces. He could play in the central attacking role.
Wilfried Zaha
Having already secured a first-team place in the Premier League, Arsenal have begun to look at ways to strengthen in the January transfer window. And there’s no doubt that Wilfried Zaha, who will turn 26 on January 31st, is a top target.
The Crystal Palace midfielder has been linked with a number of clubs in the last two years, and the Gunners have been keeping tabs on him. However, the big news is that he could be set to make his move to the Emirates.

Despite reports that have linked Ansu Fati to Arsenal, the 20-year-old winger has yet to make a move to England. He is currently out of favour at Barcelona and has been linked with a move away from Camp Nou.
His contract with the Spanish giants is set to expire in 2022 and he could find himself on the move again after only one season. But, the youngster has impressed this season and his performances in the Qatar World Cup have been particularly impressive.
The Gunners have already started preparing for the January transfer window. The club is reportedly in talks with Palmeiras over the signing of 21-year-old midfielder Danilo. But, they also have interest in Toulouse’s attacking midfielder Fares Chaibi.
Piero Hincapie
Several teams have been keeping tabs on 20-year-old Ecuadorian defender Piero Hincapie and Arsenal have also been linked with a move for the youngster. He has been on the radar of numerous clubs since the summer transfer window.
The young defender has impressed in Germany for Bayer Leverkusen, making over a dozen appearances for his club. He is regarded as one of the best central defender prospects in Europe.
Mikel Arteta is looking to strengthen his squad and has made over PS100 million in signings in the summer. He is keen to add a ball-playing centre-back to his squad. Several players have been linked with the North London club since the transfer window closed.
