NCP member secretary Akhtar Hossain held a meeting with the leaders and activists of the Pirgachha Upazila branch of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami in Rangpur on Friday evening regarding the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Explaining the reason for the alliance election at the meeting, he said, “If all the leaders and activists of the alliance including Jamaat and NCP work on the field in the four constituencies of Rangpur, we will win, InshaAllah. The common people are on our side.”
The meeting was attended by, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Rangpur district branch assistant secretary Maulana Mostaq Ahmed, Upazila Ameer Bazlur Rashid Mukul, NCP’s Upazila chief convener Abdullah Al Mamun (Shimul) along with Jamaat and NCP leaders and activists.
After the exchange of views, Akhtar Hossain exchanged greetings with Jamaat and NCP leaders and activists at Pirgachha Bazar.
