Agri Trans Services – Canada’s Leading Agriculture & Bulk Transportation

As a distribution partner with leading manufacturers and end users, Agri-Trans Services’ core business is the transportation of bulk and deck freight. The company was established in 1993 with locations in Armstrong and Abbotsford BC, Canada. Our prime areas of operation in Canada are British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. In the US, we regularly service Washington St., Oregon, Idaho, and Montana.

On the bulk side of the business, we move both dry and liquid agricultural commodities, finished feed, wood pellets, flour, manufactured and organic fertilizers, landscape materials, minerals, and bio-waste.

For deck freight, ATS focuses on lumber, plywood, drywall, roofing, concrete blocks, palletized and bagged products, and steel.

Agri-Trans Services has a variety of equipment tailor-made to meet our customers’ requirements. Our largest division is comprised of our Super B train trailers; Convertible trailers offer a hybrid of deck and bulk capability while traditional Hard-Side hopper trailers ensure flexibility as needed. Our quad axle Belt trailer fleet is the largest in BC and offers unmatched versatility for cross-border and local customers alike. The Auger/Stinger division specializes in finished feed delivery in the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island and the Okanagan. We have food grade and non-food grade pneumatic trailers for industrial bakeries, breweries, and manufacturing facilities. And finally, ATS operates a variety of specialty trailers: Super B and tandem tankers, Super B end dumps, and a side-dump tipper trailer.

In addition to our trucking operations, we offer a suite of value-added services to fit the needs of our customers:

  • Rail to truck transloading in Armstrong and Abbotsford
  • Lumber and Plywood reloading
  • Heavy duty truck and trailer inspections and repairs in Armstrong and Abbotsford
  • Commodity Brokerage
  • Grain Vacuum Service
  • Load Brokerage
  • Equipment sales

As a growing and dynamic company, ATS is always on the lookout for professional Class 1 drivers who embody our values of Respect, Reliability, and Teamwork. Agricultural, Super B or Cross-Border experience is always considered an asset. In our workshops, licensed heavy-duty mechanics for both Armstrong and Abbotsford locations are always in demand for fleet maintenance and third-party work.

We are always interested in partnering with companies who are looking to expand their business or diversify or explore new product lines and logistics concepts. Contact Agri-Trans today to learn more.
