5 Things we can Learn from IPL players

The preparation for IPL 2021 has already started, and many of us are pretty excited for the upcoming season. Every year, IPL brings new excitement, good cricket matches, trend of IPL betting, and amazing players showing their skills. Players like Virat Kolhi, MS Dhoni, AB De Villiers, and others are some of the players most of us are excited to see.

Although, these players play from different teams in the IPL season. But there are a few things we can learn from them. And in this article, I will be talking about 5 things that we can learn from IPL players.

So here we go:

1. Virat Kohli

We all know how aggressive player Virat Kohli is and has a great attitude in the field. However, many of us do not know, but he gets his attitude because of his confidence to experience.

The player gained this massive confidence through self-discipline, and he uses his aggression in positively on the field. And as aspirants, we can take a lifelong lesson from him to learn self-discipline and how he has the only goal to compete with himself.

Also, as you already know that he is the best ODI player, but he still strives to improve and be better than his own self with each passing day and giving us amazing IPL cricket performances.

2. MS. Dhoni

The background of MS Dhoni is not so glamorous. The player comes from the small town of Jharkhand and belongs to a simple middle class family. Also, before playing for the Indian cricket team, he had a government job as a ticket collector in railways. But he decided to give it up for his passion for Cricket.

Of course, for him, the decision did not come so easy. But the courage of deciding what he really wants to do really separates him from other players.

One of the best parts of the player is that he always stays calm even under heavy pressure. And this is surely one of the USPs of this player. However, he had received remarks on his age. But he never failed to prove himself with a comeback.

3. AB De Villiers

AB De Villiers is the best example when it comes to discipline and determination. From him, we all should learn how to push one’s limit to a certain level. Also, the coolest part is that he is not only good at Cricket, but he is also a pro in swimming, hockey, football, rugby, cricket, badminton, and so on.

When it comes to Cricket, he is known as a 360 degree player. Although we can’t deny that he is a great player, but he went through a lot of injuries in his cricket career, but none of them could ever stop him from getting a number of international records to his name.

So the motivation over here is that even if things don’t work your way, you can still get back like a pro with hard work and passion.

4. Hardik Pandya

Not many of us know that IPL superstar failed in the 9th standard. And he used to play in local village tournaments to earn just Rs0 400. Also, he didn’t get the privileges that many Indian crickets get.

But yet he remained true to his passion and worked pretty hard, and made his way to the Indian cricket team. It is surely a great lesson to see how all you need is a passion for succeeding in anything.

While many of us give an excuse and convince ourselves that it is not possible. But the passionate people keep working hard and look for opportunities, and do not wait for miracles to happen.

5. Rishabh Pant

Lastly, there is the Rishabh Pant. At the age of 21, Rishabh Pant proved that age is just a number if you want to follow your passion. Throughout his career, he has played amazing games and delivered great innings for his team.

However, in IPL 2019, he had received a lot of backlash for his poor performance as a wicketkeeper. But in the recent India – Australia cricket tournaments, he showed that negative comments and reviews are only lifelong learning. And it can only help you to shape your career only if you take such reviews positively.
