Mardi Himal Base Camp Trekking Itinerary
In the following itinerary, Pokhara is that the starting and final point of your trek. If you favor the variation in your trip, allow us to know. We’ll be happy to plan accordingly and operate a customized trip.
Day 01: Drive to Kade( 5807 feet) from Pokhara and trek to Forest Camp (6890 feet)
Today we’ll take a bus ride from Pokhara to Kande. This is often around an hour’s drive. You’ll catch glorious views of mountains along the ride from Kande. Then we’ll start our trek.
One hour from Kande we’ll reach the primary point, Australian Base Camp. From here we’ll be ready to catch the primary view of the mountains. We’ll then reach Pothana then to Pitam Deurali.
The walk continues on the most trekking trail reaching Deurali. Excellent landscapes and snow-capped peaks will impress you at all times. From here our route leads into the entire wilderness faraway from mainstream trekking trail. You head towards the north along a ridgeline into a deeply forested area where the temperature drops to chill and refreshing air. There you would possibly also catch super views of Annapurna Range with Hiunchuli.
A slow walk results in our overnight stop within the middle of the woodland. There few lodges await you with a warm meal and comfortable beds. The forest Camp is simply somewhere around.
Day 2: Trek to High Camp (10500 feet)
After a pleasing overnight stop, morning walk proceeds towards the upper and better ridgeline of Mardi Himal. Because the walk progresses we leave behind the tall tree lines and plush vegetation for alpine shrubs and dwarf rhododendron bushes.
This is a wonderful place and from here you can see the great views of mountains and snow-capped mountains. You will also see Mount Fishtail in front of you.
It is an ideal spot within absolute silence and solemn tranquility. Because the walk progresses we proceed to High Camp where the air gets thinner and cooler. We need to stay up with a steep climb to succeed in our overnight stop at High Camp. In this trekking here are only a few simple lodges because this is recently explored trek and sweeping aside the superb panorama of Annapurna Himalaya. Jesus, what a memory you’ll have!
Day 03: Trek to Mardi Himal Base Camp back to High Camp (14760 feet)
This day is going to be the highlight of the trek needless to say. We’ll start early within the morning before sunrise. It’ll be dark so carrying a torch would be a sensible idea. The trial is sort of challenging because the elevation keeps rising. We will first reach the Lower Viewpoint. From here itself you’ll be ready to watch the mountains. We’ll be walking on top of Capitol Hill and towards your left, you’ll be ready to see the Annapurna Range and towards your right, you’ll witness Mount Fishtail.
We will then reach the Upper viewpoint from where you’ll get a tremendous view of the mountains as you float above the clouds. We’ll finally reach the Mardi Base Camp situated at an altitude of 4500 meters. From here you’ll catch the view of a number of the favored mountain ranges. This includes Mount Annapurna South (23,685 feet), Hiunchuli (21,132 feet), Mount Annapurna I (26,545 feet), Khangsar Kang (24,557 feet), Gangapurna (24,455 feet), Machhapuchhre (22,943 feet) and Mardi Himal (18218 feet). The same day within the evening we return to the High Camp.
Day 04: High Camp to Dhampus
After we are back to High Camp, we return from the place where we’ve started. After having our morning breakfast, we depart for return. From our thanks to Lower Base Camp and Siding we return to lower base camp. We’ll spend a while enjoying these scenic beauties too. It is precisely the way we started far away from. Within 4 to five hours bus ride, we get from the paths finally to Dhampus to travel back to Pokhara. We will have our dinner within the evening and have an honest night’s sleep to organize for the Judgment Day of our trek the very next day.
Day 05: Trek right down to Phedi and drive back to Pokhara
After we’ve driven back to Dhampus, we trek right down to Phedi. Our trek will roughly extend between one to two hours. Then we reach on a good valley with warmer areas with farm villages and paddy terraces. Our walk finally ends at Mardi village where we’ll take a brief repel to Pokhara. Pokhara Lakeside villages sit, “front row center” to at least one of the foremost beautiful Himalayan panoramas within the world.
